Refund policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
- A full refund within 14 days of a payment, once per person.
- After that, a refund for each full month left in the year you paid for.
- A refund comes with cancelling: Premium ends when you’re refunded.
Full refund within 14 days
Within 14 days of a payment, the first year’s or a renewal’s, you can have it refunded in full, tax included. This is once per person: it can’t be used again on a later payment or on another account of yours. A later request within 14 days of a payment is handled as described below.
After 14 days
After that, you’re refunded what you paid, tax included, multiplied by the number of full months left in the paid year and divided by 12. The months are counted from the payment date, and the month you ask in is never refunded. With less than one full month left, there’s no refund; cancelling then only stops the renewal.
For example: you pay on 1 January and cancel on 10 April. May to December is 8 full months left, so you get 8/12 of what you paid back.
How to ask
- On the web: Settings → Account → Cancel and refund. It shows the amount and asks you to confirm before doing anything. With less than a full month left, it offers to stop the renewal instead, and Premium runs to the end of the paid year.
- On Android, iOS or the Mac, use the web, or email support@tendapp.ca from your account’s address.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and usually show up within a few days. A refund cancels your subscription straight away, so Premium ends when you’re refunded. Nothing is deleted: see what happens when Premium ends.
Cancelling without a refund
You can cancel at any time, on Link (app.link.com) or in Settings → Account. Premium then runs to the end of the paid year and doesn’t renew.
Refunds by Stripe, and the law
Payments are handled by Stripe (as Link), which is the seller of record. This policy sits alongside two things that can give you more:
- Stripe may itself refund a payment within 60 days, for example to prevent a chargeback.
- Where the law gives you a cooling-off or withdrawal period, or other consumer rights, they apply in full and nothing here limits them. That includes your rights under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.
If a refund is made on top of another one, the earlier amount is taken off, so you’re never refunded more than you paid. A refund returns the tax with it.
